"Bad Dog": Family Drama With a Sharp, Witty Bite

A family crisis brings warring parties together again under the same uncomfortable roof, in a house that happens to be missing a wall -- drunken daughter Molly drove through it after falling hard off the wagon, bringing a decade of sobriety crashing down with her. Now, her two sisters, divorced mom, dad and stepmom have arrived for an intervention that ends up taking some interesting twists and turns. Coming to the stage at the Olney as part of DC's Women's Voices Theater Festival, this sharp and biting dramedy is written by a master of the form, Jennifer Hoppe-House, who explored similar terrain as a writer on Showtime's "Nurse Jackie".
