About Jim Rezac, This Show is in Our Vinyl Lounge and is FREE no tickets required!

In his relatively short time writing songs, Jim Rezac has been getting attention on international and local Top Ten list. Noted for his ability to turn a lyric, Rezac considers this to be his true medium. And while his singing and songwriting are described as reminiscent of other artists, the best description of his music comes from Chris Kirby, fellow musician and recording engineer for Digital Street Studio. "Jim's songs are honest....that's the best word I have for it. The content, the delivery. His songs are real and from the heart."

Jim Rezac has been playing as a solo artist and in country, rock, and rockabilly bands for years. Content with being a side man, playing guitar, Cigar Box slide, and six string banjo during that time...he finally stepped out, threw his hat in the ring and has not looked back. Rezac has performed at NYC's The Bitter End, The Avalon Theater, The Grand Opera House in Wilmimngton and venues in Annapolis, MD, DE, PA, VA, and in any gin joint, coffee shop, or venue he could. Jim will soon be taking his songs to the Midwest and points south. Stay tuned!!

In January of 2013, Jim put out his first CD....his live solo performance at Digital Street Radio's "A Night To Be Heard". The 12 cut work is for sale on iTunes as well as other sites. His song, "Fall" continues to place in the top ten (#1!) of Broadjam's Top Ten Song for DE Artists. The songwriter has been gigging to promote that disc as well as the new songs he is currently recording. Venues played in just last two months include The Bitter End in NYC, The Avalon Theater, MD, and Wilmington's The Grand Opera House. Rezac opens the season of Singer Songwriters for The Delaware Bay Trading Company on June 20th for an outside, 'garden' concert.

Jim loves writing on and playing his Baden acoustic guitar. Most of my songs come from mornings noodling around on the back porch with it and coffee.....LOTS of coffee. A self proclaimed 'Single Coil" Man, I love pushing his Tele or Brazen Dynasty TV, or beloved 6120 thru anything vintage sounding...or looking! " I play a Gretsch 6120W, a one-of-a-kind..dragged-behind-a-truck Tele, Baden Acoustic, and a cigar box slide with a Danelectro Lipstick in it" Rezac is now a representative for The Engle....a hand held percussive hammer. A fan of the cigar box guitar, ".... I've been cutting my own bottle neck slides, making cigar boxes, and can be found any given Sunday rewiring my effects board. I am a Pedal Junkie. I love my Jangle Box compression and Rumble Seat pedals the most!"
