Johnny Cash Musical "Ring of Fire" Brings the Man in Black's Songs to Life

"Ring of Fire" is a song-fueled journey through the music of one of the country's most iconic singer-songwriters, Johnny Cash. This foot-stompin', crowd-pleasin' country jukebox musical celebrates the songs of a true American original -- the Man in Black himself. Created by Tony Award winner Richard Maltby Jr. ("Ain't Misbehavin'", "Fosse"), the musical explores Cash's faith, success, struggles and famous romance with fellow performer June Carter Cash through songs like "I Walk the Line," "A Boy Named Sue," "Folsom Prison Blues" and, of course, "Ring of Fire." This Broadway musical revue features five actor-musicians who crack Cash's hit-filled songbook wide open, and bring his music, humor, honesty and raw power to life on the Infinity Theatre stage in Annapolis.
