This walking tour led by Washington Walks leads you around the exterior of the U.S. Capitol building, America's best-known symbol of democracy, and past the buildings housing America's legislative and judicial branches of government. While strolling through the Capitol's park-like setting, you will discover that "Capitol Hill" is indeed a high point on the Washington landscape, an appropriate setting for such important landmarks. You'll also make stops at such sights as The Library of Congress, the U.S. Botanic Garden, the U.S. Supreme Court and the memorial to General Ulysses S. Grant.
