For over a decade, Gay River Camping continues to hold memorable gay camping weekends on the Shenandoah River in Virginia. We are a very diverse group of lesbians and gay men who enjoy the great outdoors and love camping. Our gay camping weekends, held annually from June to October, are open to anyone and everyone who is supportive of the GLBT community. While we do have fees for our gay camping weekends – including the annual GO FAB Festival – the money we collect after expenses, is donated to charitable causes. River Camping is a not for profit organization that promotes Camping for a Cause. We feel that we can join together and have a good time while doing something good for the GLBT Community.
