About The Iron Gate Antiques

Iron Gate Antiques

Antique Furniture Restoration and Sales

(including upholstery)

Specializing in pre- 1900's Furniture

Iron Gate Antiques was started by World War II Navy Veteran Homer Bowie in the early 1970's. Iron Gate was located at several different locations throughout the Loudoun Valley. In 1992 Homer moved the store to Main street in the old downtown section of Purcellville, Virginia, until his death in December of 2005, when it passed to his son Carleton. Moses King purchased Iron Gate Antiques in 2006 and moved the store to its current location in June of 2007. In October of 2007 Bob and Lynne McCann purchased Iron Gate Antiques. For the past twelve years Bob and Lynne have been customers of the store. The decision to buy the store was easy. The reputation of Moses and Cecil as master Craftsmen is well know throughout the Shenandoah Valley.
